Work For Us
Our culture has high performance at its centre, enabling all staff to achieve personal, professional satisfaction and collective success. Our support for all staff includes our Wellbeing and Workload Charter, investment in CPD at all ages and stages, strong line management and appraisal; an additional structure of teacher Professional Pathways, which include strong support for the ECT years, NPQs and preparation for the next professional challenge, and; a culture that places carbon reduction towards a net zero position by 2035 at its heart. We believe in investing for all of our futures.
Our Wellbeing and Workload Charter has ensured that we drive workload down with wellbeing being at centre stage. Each year we undertake surveys based on the Charter to confirm we are on the right trajectory, with tweaks made for improved workload and workplace environment with successes recognised.
Our annually reviewed teacher Professional Pathways are an important feature of working with us – so that, at whatever stage of your career, you have an entitlement to high quality professional development and growth opportunities to stimulate you, support your increasing professional effectiveness and prepare you for your next career move – either within the Trust or beyond.
Professional Pathways 2023-2024
We have ambitious aims to support reaching a net zero position:
1. Being Net Zero Carbon in our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by the end of one school ‘generation’ of pupils* by 2028;
2. A 50% reduction in our Scope 3 emissions by 2028;
3. Being Net Zero Carbon in our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions in two generations of school pupils by 2035.
